Providing students with the necessary information is paramount, so that they learn enough and achieve for themselves, the development of ingenuity and the total confidence to work without worries.
The experiments then, allow that it is confirmed that the hypotheses are true, and this is how the scientific method is validated.
Experiments with eggshells
If life offers you easy-to-use materials, then you should not waste your time and should do what you can to use the available resources.
Perhaps, they have seen the eggs alone on the plate for breakfast, but here I show you how the egg shells are used in fun experiments.
Materials:
- Egg. (The amount that is desired and that is enough for all children to do their own experiment).
- Cotton.
- Seeds.
- Marker.
- Support to place the eggs.
- Water.
- Spoons.
What are the steps to follow to carry out the experiment?
Step # 1. With the spoon, the eggshell should be broken at one end, and the protein should be removed and stored in a separate container. Next, rinse carefully inside with warm water to remove the remaining residues, let it dry alone and then use it for the experiment.

Step # 2. Once the egg shells have dried, the children should be prepared to hold them gently and with the marker draw faces and / or names to identify them, and therefore, monitor the experiment.

The happy face of the children will be very rewarding, and they will be more excited to continue with the experiment. They will learn with what they will do with the eggshells.

Step # 3. In each shell add a little cotton and some seeds, followed by this, add water for the experiment to start its execution process.
Observe daily and water the seeds that are on top of the cotton, it will be the task of the children, to verify what will happen later.

Step # 4. Take note every day of how the germination process has been, and what time it has taken to grow. In the same way they should sprinkle a little water to keep them alive.

Step # 5 Once the germination process is finished, and the seeds fulfill the expectations, the children will present their experiments and can see the growth that each of their colleagues' experiments has had, taking note of their appearance.

It is important to acquire scientific knowledge in different areas, both in physics and in biology, so we must start with practices from the simplest to the most complex, and in this way see the process of knowledge acquisition.
