In the classroom, it is necessary to implement activities that allow answering questions in a fun and dynamic way. Since it is inexhaustible in children, the ability to learn, teach, research, discuss and discover the most unusual.

For all this, it is suggested to create a place to perform the game of: Why?, and that's where the idea of the most fun mailbox comes in, to stimulate learning.

What does this mailbox intend?

Being an accessible and spontaneous didactic resource. The mailbox allows the development of written expression, promoting creativity, leaving the imagination, thoughts, ideas, beliefs, dreams, among others, free. It even promotes the habit of reading.

Students should be encouraged to write so that there is a favorable outcome, where they can express themselves in the classroom, freeing their thoughts in a critical way by creating texts.

The mailbox aims to share the learning with the children and with the educator. It consists of:

  • A door through which will appear every month, the famous: why?
  • Each envelope will invite dialogue, laughter and exchange.
  • The educator will propose to fill the mailbox with envelopes that keep the most curious of the why?, That each one has.
  • The children will be removing the envelopes, thus different activities will arise, such as: reading of each why, possible answers, graphics that illustrate, stories fed with fantasy or reality, among others.

Suggested activity.

Step 1. Children will write, the: why? that they consider important for the class. With the theme they like, placing the letter in an envelope.

This activity will allow students to be creative, encourage correct writing and want to research topics that will instruct their classmates.

All children think and have different preferences, so it is good that they can join ideas to learn from each other about their educational interests.

Step 2. When all the children finish writing, they will proceed in an orderly manner to present the letters in the mailbox.

It is necessary to tell children that they should try to make their writing clear, this will help them to be interested in writing correctly.

Step 3. When all the envelopes are in the mailbox, the educator will choose a child to remove the envelope that he / she touches in that month, to perform said activity.

Step 4. When the student withdraws the envelope, he / she must say out loud, who the writer was and what the question is for the activity.

The letter in question may contain some clues and a brief summary of the student's opinion. Which should be read so that everyone receives the information and gets excited about it.

Practical experience.

Example, of some of the suggestions of the why? It would be: why does it rain?. Then the educator will ask them to carry out two activities in different groups, theoretical and practical.

Theoretical activity:

The children must in this case make an exhibition, explaining the question and can use the resources they consider necessary:

The exhibition may contain the following explanation:

Because it rains? Because the heat of the sun evaporates water from the sea, from rivers and from lakes, water in the form of vapor rises into the atmosphere, being the upper part of the sky. The steam that reaches the upper parts of the atmosphere cools and becomes small drops of water that join to form clouds. When the small drops continue to accumulate, they become large and the indoor air cools, then increases in size and as they can not sustain they fall to the ground.

After this exhibition, children can make a debate of questions and interact, it is a way of joining as a group.

Practical activity:

Because it rains? It becomes an experiment. The emotion and desire will be even greater, since they will carry out the experiment to form the rain.

The materials to use:

  • Water bottle.
  • Markers.
  • Blue vegetable coloring.
  • Water.

Procedure, water cycle and rain formation. Students will take the bottle and with the marker they will proceed to paint sun, clouds and waves. The dye will be applied to the water to make it more interesting and will be emptied in the bottle, in this way children can formulate hypotheses about the color of the water, when it evaporates and condenses. The bottle must be closed, making sure it is not left open, otherwise the evaporation will come out.

The bottle will be placed in a window where the sun reflects on the bottle, and it will be very fun for the children to see it during the day and observe what happens. You will notice that the drops are transparent and you will see how it rains inside the bottle hitting gently and the drops will fall.

The class of the mailbox of why, it can be done with various topics in which they put into practice dynamic activities, which well contain theory and practice. The students leave the monotony, have fun and learn.

Education is a total fun that fills the human being to make him useful, we are the tool that drives him.
