Introduction

I love community effort because joining hands together is the best way to leverage the power of all. I love education because knowledge is power. Now you probably know why I support and decided to promote @steemiteducation. @steemiteducation is an amazing community of teachers and educators that support each other. This community hopes to make the world a better place by promoting educational posts and authors that create them. Read exactly how they put it:

The steemiteducation account was started to bring all educators together on this platform. We believe that education gives us better knowledge of the world around us and it changes the world into a better place. We are a close community and young and old, work together, to share ideas, teach each other, and learn from each other.

So to support and promote this amazing community of educators, I will make 2 posts each week - every saturday and wednesday - to review my 5 top posts curated by @steemiteducation in the last 2 or 3 days. I will probably increase the number of posts if I have the time to read more. The aim is to promote the community and authors that volunteered to spread knowledge. This is my little contribution to support the efforts of @steemiteducation for bringing teachers and educators together.

So lets get into the business!

My top 5 posts for today 10/7/2019

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

1. DO NOT OVERDO THE PRESSURE YOU PUT ON CHILDREN.

This article by @bigbear makes for an interesting read which was why I featured it first. Lots of parents put excessive pressure on the children to make high grades and when they fail to live up to expectation, they are called names and even shamed. Some children have committed suicide or did other terrible things just because they did not make A's. Parents should not over worry their kids because they failed to make A's. There is more to education than high grades.

2. Teachers That Students Dislike

I could remember in my Primary school days that there were some teachers I disliked. So watch the video in this article by @fun2learn made me laugh and remember my kid days. Watch the video and see 12 types of teachers that students dislike.

3. I have a crush - Information for boys and girls

@anneke explained in this article how to handle having a crush on someone at school. We all have been there. You feel so excited whenever you see this person. So for young people at school, it could be confusing or evn irritating. But this article explained how both sexes could handle crushes at school

4.SCHOOL FOR PARENTS: How to know if your child is being hurt at school?

In this post, @deisip67 raised a very delicate issue of children that are being maltreated at school. Sometimes, parents do not understand why their child does not want to go to school. Maybe, they are afraid of a big student that beats them or even trouble them emotionally. Parents should read this article and learn about how to identify signs of child persecution at school.

5.Easy & Effective DIY Facial Masks Using Aloe Vera Gel!

Its time to learn a skill. If want to create a facial mask using Aleo Vera Gel. Just follow this step by step guide presented by @bluepanda. You will learn about the ingredients, when to add what and how to arrive at the end-product. Why dont you read this article and enjoy learning something new.

Love the fact about parents and guardians not putting pressure on children. Know of a guy who wants to do art but his father doesn't think it's a profession, so is currently studying business administration in the university

This article introducing aloe vera was very successful. I read it and commented. I know that this plant cures many different diseases. People should know more about alternative treatment methods.

Great posts you choose 💕

@focusnow, It's really unfortunate that nowadays people are suppressing their children with the pressure of studies and some people by birth only start to decide and plan what their children should pursue. In my opinion in any way it's a force aspect because we are not giving a choice to them or time to understand what this life is. Stay blessed.

Do not overdo the pressure. It's pretty important to their development what pressures they face and the tools they are provided to deal with it.
