Mr Lee Kuan Yew was the first Prime Minister of Singapore.

He was responsible in leading Singapore into the success when many have doubts about its survival when Singapore first gained its independence to become a country on its own.

Never Give Up

Obstacles are often the hinderance of success but the survivors of a competitive world are often those who do not give up.

Giving up is the procrastination of success. It is a matter of time that we need to face and overcome it in order to gain success.

Without giving up, we can eventually find possible success. Even if we do not succeed, we have learnt a valuable lesson.

Our Experience

We can definitely learn from our successes and even more from failures.

Many successful businessmen today faced great failures before they have their great successes today.

We must not be afraid of the bad experience as they are the ones who would build us.

Our experience is our best teacher and guide.

Passion

I had mentioned about passion in my past articles before. We would have the unlimited drive to see success when we have the passion to do it.

Everyone of us may have a job and we fulfil our duties in our respective jobs daily.

The passionate worker would not just fulfil the minimum duties of his job scope but he would find ways to improve and innovate so that there can be greater improvement from the old ways.

A passionate worker would go the extra miles without expecting anything in return as the reward is doing an excellent job.

As a leader of the organisation, we want to nurture such passion in our subordinate so that each and everyone can become an impactful positive builder to the organisation.

Open to Change

Change is the only constant in the world today as everything is changing every second.

There is never a second where change is not happening.

Since we cannot stop change, we cannot stay stagnant in our current state.

We must keep an open mind for change so that we stay current and relevant to a competitive knowledge driven age.

Just like our platform that can go through many hardforks for further enhancement.

In Conclusion

There are definitely many other great teaching points in the video like how Mr Lee Kuan Yew was able to stand his ground to what he believed and his boldness in speaking up.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew was definitely an inspirational leader of Singapore. There are many people who can find success through learning from the inspirational words spoken by him in the past.
