Accept differences
We often meet people who are different from us but there are many who are still unable to accept these differences.
Racial harmony is an important aspect in my country but there can be students who choose not be accept others because of their narrow minds.
Below is a videoclip about a boy who had frustration when he tried very hard to make friends.
Different
We are all different. We cannot find two people who are exactly the same even twins have different personalities.
Our differences make life more interesting. If everyone is the same, it makes everything predictable and it can be an extremely boring place.
Our differences make us unique and there is no one else like us.
Guiding our children and students about accepting others who are different from us can be a crucial aspect to survive in a multi-racial society.
Take the first step
When we are the ones who are different from the majority, we need to take the first step forward to make friends.
Rejection may be an initial experience but when we do not give up trying, we can start breaking the hearts of walls to establish new bonding and relationship.
Most of us are involved in social platforms like steem, whaleshares, weku, bearshares, scorum etc
Some new members may complain that they are unable to get support for their articles.
The truth is we cannot simply just produce content but we need to get connected with others regularly.
Support others and we would get support too.
It is true that quality content is important but the fact is not all can get the attention that they want.
We need to take the first step to make friends and get active.
Positive
It is very easy to get angry with things but it is harder to stay positive when we meet with lots of challenges in getting connected with others.
I do have stubborn students who would not listen even when I spoke to them nicely.
Shouting and losing our cool would not get us anywhere except to leave a bad impression.
We need to stay positive and keep trying.
In conclusion
An applause takes two hands. We need to put our hands together to clap our hands.
When we want to do a high-5 with a friend, both must want to do it.
The willingness of both parties can be hard but taking the initiative to get others to know us better and also accepting others who are different bring us closer.
When we start to move forward, others would eventually move closer to us too.
A determined heart makes a great difference in establishing relationship.
