Personally I am of the opinion that creativity is the mother of innovation.
Creativity- is to birth something new into existence. Its simply an adjective for create. While
innovation- innovation is going a step further on an existing creative idea.
I'll use the Steemit platform as an example. Its a social platform that is built under the initially BITCOIN (Mother of cryptocurrencies) creativity. Ned looked for a way to create a rewarding and interactive community that can bring people together thereby allowing them earn money from engaging. Something outrightly different from the regular Bitcoin trading. So its safe to then say that Creativity births Innovation.
