INVENTION OF THE PENCIL

We always start children off with crayon when they are small and let them colour and draw.

Then we go onto pencils and I wonder how many people have thought of where the pencil comes from.

I found this wonderful educational video on where pencils come from but it is truly a video for children.

If you are a teacher in the preschool or in the early stages at school, ask children where pencils come from and they will all say the shops.

That is true, but once you show them this video they will really know where pencils come from, and they can even go and tell their parents as some of them might not know either.

I am putting this video in here and I am sure there are lots of parents who would love to show the video to their children.

When we tell our children stories do you not think it is and excellent idea to tell them stories like this as they are truly enjoying it and learning something at the same time.

If we can teach children like this they will definitely enjoy learning so much more, and it can only make them know things that other children might not.

I think a story with a lesson is a very good thing and therefore I do suggest that you let them watch this video if possible at all.

I will try and find more like these and we can tell our children stories with meaning.
