LESSON BY A GOOD MOTHER TO TEENAGE SON.
I found this letter on the internet from a mother who realized that she had to do something to make her child realise that 13 years old is still just a child.
We find some children at that age that they think once they hit the age of 13 they are grown up.
He seemed to think that being 13 made him a grown up and he could do just what he wanted.
Well she wrote him this letter, as you are not allowed to punish your children anymore the way we use to when I was young.
It is so unbelievable because they can take you to the police, and you are then the one who is wrong.
So finding this way of punishment is so good that no one will get in trouble and she does love her son.
The reason why she did this is the only way she could find to show him that he is still just a baby and not a grown up.
It could be that he landed himself between wrong friends and that they had influenced them to be horrible to his mother.
I personally think that this is such a wonderful idea because if he did not come to an agreement with her he would just find out how hard it is to work for everything you just get for free at home.
He must have thought long and hard about this and that made him realise that he still has a lot of time to be loved and appreciated by his mother.
Some people say this is a hard way, but how do you treat a child that has just become difficult to handle.
She was such a good mother as she was teaching him what he had to be thankful for.
A lot of children do not realise that all the wonderful things like food and internet as well as cleaning up is done by someone and they just except that they are there and they have a right to it.
Being a good parent sometimes does take a little thinking outside the box and this woman really did it in a nice way.
She did not say that he would have to do it this way now, she told him to come and talk to her so that they can come to a compromise and for that reason he did.
He must have realized that later in life he would have to pay for all these things himself and he then came back to earth, and realized that he was only a child and had to be thankful for what she was giving him.
I really hope you feel the same way as no one was hurt except that there was discipline restored in the house.

Good way to teach a child (not quite so publicly, but that is an admitted error on her part), how much parents do give children, things never taken into consideration.
People reacted due to feeling similar, rules imposed make life more difficult for parents today, "spare the rod , spoil the child" comes to mind, we had the wooden spoon hidings to remind us to listen many years ago....
So true joanstewart we had a belt and a lot of painful backsides, but it did work.
Children should understand only. Because one wrong person can remove them.
