WHERE DOES THE WORD JAY WALKING COME FROM
This is such a silly video but it is all true.
When cars started driving on the road there were many people killed.
The reason was that everyone just walked where they wanted to.
The car manufacturers had to come up with a plan to stop this problem.
This is when the first robot came to live and the word jaywalking as well.
This word meant that the people were not allowed to walk when and where they wanted to.
Jay walking has become a recognised word and people can be fined for doing this.
It was necessary because so many people were killed by cars.
Today we have places to cross the streets as the roads now belonged to the cars and not to the people anymore.
Who would have thought that people did not realise this and that is why we have robots and crossings in streets today.
