Newly Added English Words In The Dictionary.

The Oxford Advanced English Dictionary recently had an update and added these new words, “Snowflake”, “mansplaining”, “hangry”...

However, the update had new 1,100 new words, senses and phrases added to the Oxford Advanced dictionary. Some of these newly added words, are already on the list of English vernacular, but with the update, they have new definitions.

Snowflake:

The word “snowflake” is an insulting term for a person characterised as overly sensitive or easily offended, or as feeling entitled to special treatment or consideration,”

Mansplaining:

  The word “Mansplaining” refers to the action of a man  explaining something to a woman in a condescending way.

In one way or the other, we have talked or treated  someone, not only girls in a way that we are better than them. It shouldnt be so. We are all equal before God. He created us all in His Image and likeness. No one is greater than the other irrespective of color or race.

Hangry:

A state of hunger caused by the lack of food. Hunger causing a negative change in emotional state. Or Bad-tempered or irritable as a result of hunger 

This is a feeling we all have experienced. The say a hungry man is an anry man and thats true. Hunger could really trigger many things in our body system ranging from anfer, ulcer and migraine.
