Kindergarten: Our body (Macaroni art)
It is so important for our preschoolers and kindergarten learners to know how their body looks, to know where what is.
Today we will be focussing on where all our major parts are.
If you have a full lenght mirror in your class let each learner have a chance to stand in front of the mirror.

If not, ly them down on the floor or on a big piece of paper and draw each child's body outline.

Let the children draw in the eyes, nose, mouth, ears etc. If they are to young, provide them with already cut out body pieces and let them place them at the correct places.

With the little ones, it is always smart and fun to finish of the lesson with an art activity, and how much do they love doing art with macaroni or pasta.
