The importance of education and training for teachers
I am following education and training for teachers. This is my first opportunity to attend education and training organized by the government. This activity will last for 6 days.
Education and training for teachers aims to improve the quality of human resources to be more advanced and independent. In this case, teachers given education and training can gain some new knowledge about teaching methods or using instructional media in the classroom.
In principle, education and training are part of the development of competencies a teacher must possess. Education and training for teachers is also a process of improving job skills, both professionally and managerially.
During this education and training, I have discovered new things. There have gathered teachers from various regions. We shared experiences in the study room. By sharing experiences, we can find out the teaching methods used by other teachers. We talked to each other and found solutions to the problems experienced by teachers.
This is my second day in education and training. My mentor said that the task faced by a teacher more days will be heavier. In facing these challenges, teachers must also continue to learn throughout their lives. Teachers must also be able to keep up with the times, especially in utilizing the progress of science and technology for their learning purposes. Well, one way is the teacher must follow the education and training.
During this time, I am not aware that it is important for teachers to have education and training. The learning system we get is an adult learning system. This system is very different when we teach our students in the classroom.
I realize that the teaching and learning process that I do is still less than perfect. I get new material over here. Teachers from other regions are also very happy to share their experiences. We were 30 participants.
On the sidelines of education and training, I tried to introduce Steemit to them. Some of them were trying to register their accounts. Unfortunately, those accounts are still under review. It may take a few days for them to get a password from Steemit, or not at all.
I also advise them to register another account with a different device if Steemit not approve the request of their accounts. I think, this is an opportunity for them to contribute on Steemiteducation. I hope their account will be approved soon.

Saya sepakat pak @teukumukhlis guru memang harus dilatih kemampuan dalam mengajar agar mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan pengetahuan. Kalau guru tidak terlatih bisa-bisa guru akan ketinggalan jauh dari siswanya karena hari ini mereka sudah bisa mengakses berbagai pengetahuan yg dibutuhkan scr langsung. Tidak sama saat internet belum begitu berkembang. Buku dipustaka dan buku yg ada sama guru menjadi referensi satu-satunya dalam proses belajar mengajar.
