How To Make A Monster Sandwhich

Monster Sandwiches are perfect for picnics. One sandwich can feed five people, add a fruit salad and a lemonade and there is a full, delicious, picnic.

Today, my husband was taking his children and grandchildren and even some in-law children on a picnic, and we made monster sandwiches for them.

We made one basil, mozzeralla cheese, and heirloom tomatoes.

Another was avocado, tomato, purple onions and chicken strips.

And the last one was avocado, tomato, purple onions and bacon.

First you start with the ingredients.

organic heirloom tomatoes

tabletop grown basil

super ripe avocados

chicken strips

not shown, bacon, purple onions, mayo, the mustard that made it in the picture didnt get used because the kids don't like it

First You Open Up the Bread

Then you fill it with goodies

not pictured is the heirloom tomato, basil, mozzerella cheese sandwich

Cut them up

Then you wrap them up and put them in a picnic basket

*Finally you send your husband off with all his creations and spend some time chatting with your crypto friends, getting rained on in the NYC channel, and gambling with the mamas. It truly is a time of abundance. *
