@nathanjones, @jeremy93, how tough could these Orcs be? Now that we know that they are wary enough to have set traps (and have a guard rotation) do we think that we will be able to out fox or out gun them?

Haha, they may be tougher than they appear. Or maybe there are more traps. What do you all think about circling around to see if there is another way?
Since we don't have an option like "head to the inn and continue the main quest", I guess there is no harm in circling around for now.
Reading it again, it seems that both of the Orcs are awake at the moment, so perhaps in time they will either fall asleep and we can do a bit of sneaky thievery or just overhear some juice gossip.
Ok, sounds good to me. Maybe we will over hear something, or notice something useful.
