Are you a robotic human?
life was simple without the mobile
when people would greet and talk to each other in real life
walks were common and you would not be in a hurry
visits to friends and discussions abound
the mobile arrived and life changed
people are more interested in small online games
whatsapp chats and profiles
who has the time to live a real life
health at stake
no more walks or exercise
smileys replaced the raw emotions
robotic human is the new form of evolution
why risk being alone
forget the gadget and start to look around

I write poems to express myself. I started writing at the age of twelve or so and some of my poems were published in magazines for children, a time when print still ruled the world. The internet and the blogging world has helped me write poems. Most of it was as I wrote earlier, to express myself and my thoughts. I have also been a ghostwriter.
Steemit has helped me write with freedom and also earned me very good friends who encourage me to write. I hope my readers will support me and also join in this contest. I am not a student of literature and so I do not consider myself an expert in poetry. It is the judge who will decide.

It's sad to see so many robots around us. Luckily I'm not one of them. I've managed to stay away from phone, internet, computer and any kind of technology for almost 4 months and it was so awesome. Less stress and more appreciation for what is surrounding me day by day :)
