The journey of the soul

the complexities of emotions
whether felt or experienced
drag you down
bordering on hallucinations

to think sane is a blessing
to keep aloof is a pure determination
life can be demanding at most times
with enough willpower, the journey can be made interesting

people are around
but the soul is still alone
whatever happens on the stage of life
let not the soul be bound

we come alone and return alone
the soul is but a wisp of the eternal whole
