You say I’ve changed
You say I’m different now

Perhaps I have

I stand a little taller
Because I know my worth
All the lies you told me
To bring me down
I don’t believe them anymore

I smile a little brighter now
The pain is still there
Raw and fresh
But I don’t let it
Govern me anymore

You say I’ve changed
Perhaps I have

The person you knew
The person wasn’t me

So I guess I have changed
I’m more me now
