Mexican Restaurant KUA (in The Hague)

Once in a blue moon, my wife and I have a evening where we are both free and we can wrangle some time and money for a babysitter. Last week, was one of those lucky evenings when we went out to celebrate the birthday of my wife.
Normally, we might treat ourselves to a really super nice restaurant (maybe even a Michelin star!), but sometimes we like to try and find some hidden gems in The Hague. The Netherlands (sorry guys!) is not really known for it's culinary culture, however, due to the large expat and cosmopolitan populations of The Hague/Amsterdam/Utrecht and Rotterdam, there are some really nice little places to be found!
This time, we had a great Mexican dining experience at the restaurant KUA in Den Haag. I've never had Mexican food (well, nothing authentic), so I had no idea what to expect! We ordered some Beef in Jalapeno and Lime sauce for starters, and it was surprisingly (amazingly!) good! Let me say, I will never be able to eat normal store bought corn chips ever again!
My wife ordered some Tortillas and I had a Chicken in Cocoa sauce for the main meal. Accompanying the meal was a cocktail from my wife and I had a Mexican craft beer (a red ale) which I can not remember the name of. Both drinks were delicious, and the mains were top! The Cocoa sauce is really something that has to be tried, it really sets up nicely with the chicken.
Finally, a dessert. Just a little custard to share. We are small people and the mains with the starters had already done their work on us!
Anyway, to the point. Great friendly service, cosy atmosphere, superb food and not very expensive! Definitely a gem, and a place that we come back to often!
