What I can do to promote steem- A steemjet contest

Steem can be promoted by doing the basic thing, that is getting it on as many exchange outlet as possible. I believe in doing so there by making it more available to more people and alot more avenues it will not only make steem popular but also increase in price.
Take for example some time ago, still kind of recent, the price of steem went up and that was because it was listed on Houbi. There are lots of exchange outlets out there and if the likes of HitBTC, Coinhood among others should list steem on their exchange, it would indeed go along way.

Another very simple way to promote steem is by spreading the word and getting alot of people involved in it. This can be done by promoting it in all social media platforms, that is the existing powerful platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. With this done the steemit word is spread out and there by promoting steem because that's where steem basically comes from.

Another way is through the organization of lectures, seminars, get together among others. Flyers can be created and shared to people along the way on how easy it is to become a member of the steemit community and how easy it is to earn the steem coin. The likes of organisation like #steemnaira are already doing that by organising steemcamp to spread and word and this has brought alot of people into the community and when the word spreads, alot of people will be holding steem and there by promoting it.

Another way is my explaining to people that to earn steem doesn't necessarily require any initial investment and that it can be earned with just a zero investment. Also informing them how easy it is to get your steem out and convert it to cash through #steemexchanger, or sending to other known and trusted steemians and getting cash returns.

With this few and basic points I think steem can easily be promoted.
