Carrying Out some specific tasks requires adequate funding and implementation otherwise tasks are subjected to "half baked". Thanks to our fore-runner @dimimp, we've been able to put together an intial or starter fund in our project. Our activities have begun and in order to raise more funds and still maintain an initial fund, I devised a strategy.
For a while now, I've been contemplating on the idea of making up for loose funds, what I mean is funds we do not have to complete some given tasks. Currently, we're running on a scalable fund in the sense that the quality of tasks to be carried out is solely dependent on the amount of initial funds implemented in the task. Currently we're running a main project on modifications of the http://steemjet.org website from scratch and also we have a side project on social media promotions on social media platforms and that also requires funds. Implementing this funds effectively is key in every budget plan and although it's quite the bother because its not all needs we can cover, we have implemented a strategy to cover developping work as well as upgrades in equipments and payrolls.
I adopted an idea from our fore-runner @dimimp in the idea of developing funds through self-upvotes and I devised a strategy... Which is powering Up our Initial Funds and making effective use of self-upvoting to generate funds then in some weeks time, power down to complete other payrolls we cant accomodate. In essense, the initial funds will act as a base of mini-mini-little-jet pack to generate more funds and will later be powered down to cover up some expenses we are yet to accommodate. Certainly, It's a one way idea because powering down requires 13 possible weeks of completion.... Looking at the task we have ahead, we will effectively cover our main projects in 2-3 months if we are truly gonna hit the nail on the head and not just some half baker bread. Considering the task ahead, the method and time of powering down will cover the awaited period and in the meanwhile, we will be able to generate a minimum fund to cover up for loose ends or loose funds in this situation.
This will be carried out along side with the help of @steemjet-support to raise funds to cover up loose funds and also generate valuable funds to fund other projects. Doing this, it will lessen the rate at which funds are required from our sponsor @dimimp and possibly make maximum use of what we have at hand until our fore-runner @dimimp can generate enough to run another funding again. Till then we make use of what we have to fill up loose ends.

Another alternative we can generate funds faster and (possibly get more) is through "vote-selling".
Personally I think vote selling is much more profitable compared to "self-votes". Sure you get some SBD,Steem and SP after 7 days. However, it will always just be a fixed value tied to your SP and the current price of Steem/SBD.
If we opted to vote selling, we can not only earn half of the vote fast, but we will also get some pretty good curation rewards since there are other votees as well.
As an example:
@steemjet-support's vote is around $1.40 which would roughly give:
0.202 SBD, 0.400 STEEM, 0.509 STEEM POWER. As what I've seen and heard, vote sellers normally get half of the vote being thrown which in this case we are looking at a guaranteed ~0.7 SBD reward. Assuming that the vote was made after 30minutes, the curation rewards would then be greater than 0.5SP (guaranteed full vote curation).Well this is only my opinion though and I am aware I could also be wrong with this.
