This is my entry for the wonderful contest organized by @steemjetcontests on the topic "What I Can Do To Promote Steem". And many many thanks to @steemjetcontests, @steemjet and of course our boss @dimimp for this great initiative and support to steem community and to all newbies here. @dimimp have been my source of inspiration and a great personality with good heart. These communities have been truly inspiring and motivating me by giving us a chance to participate in the contest. Before I want to express my ideas, opinions and views on the very same topic, I would like to introduce this wonderful community STEEMJET to all of you. STEEMJET is a new initiative taken by @dimimp and named by @deandaniels that involves promoting STEEM and steemit community, getting it to achieve massive global adoption and making it a better place for all. Though we all are from different nations and have different backgrounds, we all can be united as one and take STEEM to be number 1 cryptocurrency in coming future.**

So, that's all have been an introductory part about the steemjet community. I think you all have heard about this famous quote:

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
--Lao Tzu

Every successful things you achieve in your life always start from a very small steps. You want to be a doctor, you always start your journey by placing your feet on nursery class then to kindergarten and slowly your are on your journey to achieve your aim. It's the same case with this cryptocurrency steem. To make it successful and number one in future, it takes a little steps and efforts from our sides for promoting it.

Nothing can be achieved if you don't act or contribute. And if any obstacles or barriers are on our way to journey, we must be all determined to face it. The future of steem collectively lies in all our hands. We should not mention what positive things steem has given us but what we can contribute to make it future of cryptocurrency and reach it for mass global adoption. So always remember the quote of Lao Tzu and take your first step for your thousand miles journey.

I have listed my point of views on what contributions can be made to promote steem. These are:

1. Publishing Article

Many of us have our own account in many social networking sites like facebook, twitter, instagram, linkedIn and so on. We can publish our article on steem cryptocurrency on these social networking sites. Not only this messaging apps like Viber and Whatsapp allow you to create groups. We can interact with people in these groups, give them information on what cryptocurrencies, its advantages and how steem is different from rest of cryptocurrencies. We can also post crypto memes through these sites. Memes will attract a lot of investors to steem cryptocurrency.

Apart from this, we may have our own website, own blogsite and mediasites. We can get our articles published on these sites. If your friends have too, then you can ask request them to get your articles published.

2. Publishing Videos

Promoting steem through videos is far more effective than promoting through publishing article. Audience get more attention to videos than text. We can promote our steem cryptocurrency through video sites like youtube, vimeo, dailymotion, metacafe and so on. We can also share our post of steemit to them through videos. The next thing is to give tutorial for beginners to use steemit site and how to get successful in earning in steem.

3. Advertisements of Steem and Encouragement

In our real world, every business growth starts through marketing. In the same way, we can promote steem by publishing ads with animated and good designed banner, brochures and flyers on different webistes and video sites to target the investors in cryptospace. While promoting ads of steem, user fan base can be increased to a great extent. Online ads publishing is a lower market entry cost for promoting the steem.

We can encourage users who are spending their time in facebook, instagram, twitter without even getting 0 penny. We can make them aware that we are making these sites rich by giving our data and our own content but in steemit, we can get reward for our own content and if our article is too better, we can earn more than expected. We should engage with them from time to time in friendly way and give out your proof why steem is actually the future. This will surely motivate them to enter cryptoworld.

4. Hosting Meetup Talk

We can host a meetup talk programme with users who also share your interests on cryptocurrency. We can welcome new members, engage them in a more user-friendly approach, clear out their doubts regarding cryptocurrency and tell them about steem so that they can always be there with you in future meetup talk programmes. Also when you introduced them to cryptoworld, they will try to reach out to others and this process goes on. And this will eventually lead to mass global adoption on steem crypto.

Organizing metup talk is what we do in our country Nepal to attract large user base seeking to invest in cryptocurrency because it's illegal to invest and trade cryptocurrency here and promoting through websites here.

5. Social Services

Society has been an integral part of human life since the Stone age. One of the major things we can attract people to steem crypto is by organizing social services by joint effort of Steemit Community Members like afforestation campaigns, food plantation campaigns in barren land through greenhouse mechanisms, food and clothes distribution to orphange homes and for disasters relief centre, cleanliness and waste management programmes, effect of drug trafficking and so on. Other people will notice that Steem is really a good community beside from being a cryptocurrency.

Apart from the points above there are many things that can be done to promote steem, we can distribute tshirt with logo of steem printed on it. Similarly, we can distribute pamphlets and brochures containing all information on steem like what it is, how curating and upvoting it works, what are tokens and so on.

I hope the above suggestions and ideas will help steem to reach out to large number of people and subsequently results in audience growth in steemit sites.
