SteemJet Contest : What I Can Do To Promote Steem

Thank you @steemjetcontests for this wonderful contest of how one can help to promote steem or better put it, the steem platform.

To start with, I would love to say that the steem platform has being changing lives and has become a source of income for many. And this love can only be extended to others if every steemian joins hand to promote it.

@steemminna is engrossed in that mission of extending love to those who can't find love and help. @steemminna is a community account birthed out of concern to help the poor and needy in the northern part of Nigeria due to the fact that the northern region is suffering more from poverty than other regions in Nigeria.

The initiative was birthed by 9 steemians and this is our way of promoting the steem platform through charitable activities.

• Reach out to students of higher institutions in Niger state of Nigeria with the goal of educating them about cryptocurrency, wealth creation and the opportunities on the steem platform as a way of socialising and being financially free.

These 9 institutions in Niger state of Nigeria which will be our start point to other northern states include

Ibrahim Badamasi University Lapai
Federal Polytechnic Bida
College Of Education Chanchanga
College Of Education Kontongora

• Reach out to orphanages in Niger state as a point of contact to other orphanages in the north. To provide them with some feeding, clothing items and other basic necessities of life because it wasn't their intention to be orphans but life's unfairness met them at an early stage in life.

Three members of the @steemminna team made a visit to an orphanage home here in Niger State on the first day of this month of June 2018. And that was possible through a contest, where @mickyscofield who is a member of the team won 50 steem. Some pictures of the visit will be at the end of this article

• Visit to Primary and Secondary schools to assist them with writing materials, uniforms and meals during the break period if our funds permits that.

• Skill acquisition and start up capital for the youths who are unemployed, as well as providing funds to those already in business.

• Visits to hospitals and the less privileged in the state.

This is the way @steemminna intends to promote steem and to show love to others.
