First steps of investing - cut the weekends
Hello,
first the disclaimer, as this is important. I'm not a professional and my articles shall be taken as they are, they are not investment advise as it can go wrong for your from different aspects that I'm not aware.
Today I will give you a piece of advice that my mentor gave me. It was one of the best gems I received from him.
It is real simple: cut the weekend. Yes, don't think about the weekend.
The two days at the end of the week shall be used for work and growth not for binge drinking and partying. Ok, relaxation is needed but rest don't stress your body and mind, go for a walk, not in the club for example.
This two days can give you a real big advantage. You can do so much, because beside the family people will not bother you. Your real friends will understand it, the ones who you will need to get rid off will try to put a brake on your motivation. Remember this, friends you can choose.
So use the weekend wisely, especially at the start when you start investing or a side hustle. Study the first weeks and apply what you learned in the next.
With a lot of focus and grit, weekends will reaper because you will be able to afford them. Your weekends will be longer till if you do everything right so that whole week shall be a weekend.
