I think I can consider myself a Veteran Steemian since I have been around during more than 30 moons already... I can assure you I have seen everything in this ecosystem, the good, the bad and the worst...
Things are still in stabilisation mode here after HF21/22, and, of course, perhaps we did not see the total consequences of our decisions...
What is important is that we are fixing very difficult and historical problems and I think we are doing very well so far...
- More "organic" Trending and "hot" pages
- As a result of the one above, no more criticism of the trending page, although we agree that everything can be improved.
- No more abuse by Bid-bot users, or almost
- No more haejines and ranxos bleeding the system repeatedly and indiscriminately ...
- No more beggers asking for a vote or a follow me.
- No more programmatic transfers from our main developer, steemit.
Many issues are on their way to be solved if not already solved, but as the JING-JANG, everything has its pros and cons
We keep improving, fixing, sharing and reviewing ... this is the only way to improve the system and not another...
And I think we started to notice it in the market ...
Do you see that list of coins above? , they are the first 10 coins of totalcryptomarket and STEEM below that I have attached artificially ...
Have you seen their weekly performance?
ETH 5.88%, XRP 6.18%, EOS 8.58% ... Not bad ...
But neither is STEEM bad,
13.23% in one week!
Its performance this week has been good, I would say very good, despite we already know that we are coming from the catacombs and that it is still too early to start celebrating it openly, as Mr. Wolf said in Pulp Fiction,
"Well, let's not start sucking each other’s dicks quite yet."
Things have changed in the STEEM blockchain, and, although we are still not out of danger because BITCOIN does not stop fooling around, STEEM is progressing positively...
...there is no more blind than the one that does not want to see
Step by step, we are again recovering positions and value, slowly but surely...Just a little more visibility and we will see STEEM up to the place it deserves to be, within the first 20 Top Coins IMO.

Am I the only one who thinks that bid-bots are being replaced by downvoting-bots?
nope, there are some of them and also trails in steemauto.
I am getting some downvotes from negligible accounts which don't post neither...
I can totally agree on this one and it's great that plenty of posts getting there are manually curated.
:))) I guess they're still alive although I haven't checked lately.
I hope as well for Steem to recover price wise as well because we all want to profit a bit from it. At leas I will... It will take time though so there's no need to buy the champagne yet, but lets not forget that Rome wasn't built in one day.
