is there a way to understand how many cards one needs to get a card leveled?
I would like to understand how many cards I need per level so I can understand the value for each level.

I see a bunch of people have posted the table. Peakmonsters also has all of the levels listed on their collection page.
Here you can see all levels and the amount of cards needed to combine to get there.
C= Common, R= Rare, E= Epic, L=legendary

I think I spent around 2000$ to play at Max level in Gold tournaments. This means all common cards at level 8, rare at level 6, epic 5 and legendary 3. I have a bit more for that money, i.c. all legendary maxed out, all summoners maxed out. I guess around 4K total is needed to be fully maxed out, not speaking about new reward card serie. Careful, rough estimate.

I saw one user last week he purchased a complete max. Alpha lvl. Set for 1800$ with all legendary cards but no gold or any other neutral or rewards cards.

Probably 1 element like water, fire, etc... Seems too cheap, where/how did you see this?

He was making a post about his purchase of max.lvl Alpha Cards but I can't remember his name. Why do you think one element is too cheap? It all depends on how much are players willing to play with each splinter and that depends upon Battle Rules.
It makes sense actually, there were no neutral cards in Alfa + no gold, 1800$ possible. I said/meant that 1800$ was probably not enough to buy all elements, wrongly expressed :-)

Yes would love to do this, but we are not making making enough money to support the development cost for such a thing. Once we have a token standard we revisit
