Steem Monsters - What is all the Fuss About?

Hello everyone! Steem Monsters has taken over Steemit! Everywhere I turn I see people talking about opening up their Steem Monster card packs, how they got a Legendary card in their first few packs of cards! This game has the capabilities to be larger than Cryptokitties! I have acquired both and there is no comparison as we do not have any transaction fees on the Steemit blockchain and our transaction also happen in seconds!

Being on the Steemit blockchain will have an incredible impact on the community as well.
Someone may not understand what all the fuss is about, so late's take a little walk a into the world of Steem Monsters....

Steem Monsters is a collectible trading card game built on the Steemit Blockchain. To get started you will buiy a starter pack of 30 cards for $5 and from then on booster packs of cards at $2. The game was created by @aggroed and @yabapmatt with big influences from Aggroed's children. We have been waiting for over 6 months since we saw the posts on Steemit regarding art for the monsters and It finally arrived less than 2 weeks ago and has taken off to the.....Yep.. Moon! I'd like to introduce basic information to give people a little more insight on the game. If you have never opened up any Steem Monster cards this could be a quick learning reference for you.

Steem Monsters is Alpha with Beta release coming in September when the tournaments will begin. Rules and stats are not out yet. Trading cards by gifting them to others started a few days ago. Steem monsters has received over 30 K in less than 2 weeks. It is amazing and it is only going to get bigger! It is incredible to be here so early. getting in on a Epic game like this early could be vital to you. Learning the game from the very start in the early stages of development will benefit you immensely. For me, opening up Steem Monster card packs online is like Christmas morning when you were a kid! It is so exciting to open the cards up and see what you got!

There are 59 cards so far in Steem Monsters. They are broken down as follows:

There are 9 Legendary Cards total. Legendary cards are the highest card available. They can be leveled up to a Level 4. You can look at the middle of the card for their color- Gold and orange inside the circle are Legendary cards.

The Selenia Sky Legendary is also a Summoners Card. The Summoners summon the Battles. It is an exceptional card.

I personally believe that the Epic cards which are next in line are being seriously undervalued. As well as the rare cards which follow. There are 10 Epic cards total. Their color is purple. They can level up to an 8.

There are twenty Rare cards. Their color is Blue. The interesting fact about Rare cards is that they are 5 Summoners.
Many people are collecting cards to trade or sell. Others are here to the battle tournaments as well. This game is truly the most fun I have ever had on any game I have played. The classic Pacman would come in at a high second. I loved going to the arcade when I was a kid. Every Saturday I'd be over there putting all my quarters into the arcade machine Pac man! I remember having ear infections at time and my Mom would drive me to the local 7-11 as they had a Pac man machine. She would wait for me while I escaped into the world of Pac man. When I first started opening up Steem Monster Packs, it felt like that feeling you got when you were a kid playing your favorite game. To me, I believe Steem Monsters can even be larger than Pokemon, seriously! It is all on the Steemit blockchain as well! What a glorious time it is to be a Steemian! It is so much fun and way too exciting!

There are 20 Common cards. They can be leveled up to a 10. All of the cards can be leveled up by combining them for now. Later during battles you will gain XP whether you win or lose. There will be over 1K in rewards, upvotes, free booster packs, etc. involved with the tournaments so be sure to be on the lookout for a free giveaway!
