Steem Monsters Kickstarter Slowing Down

After easily selling 50,000 packs in the final week of Alpha pack availability, I'm shocked to see the Steem Monsters Kickstarter begin to slow down. The Kickstarter has been fully funded and is a success but I still thought the project would easily reach double their initial goal of $50,000 USD. Most of the pledge packages offered are directly comparable to pack costs, $200 gets you 100 packs plus a handful of extras (Steem account creation, promo cards) compared to $200 getting you 110 packs buying directly from Steem Monsters. You probably get more value through the kickstarter in all honesty. But for whatever reason, the pledges just haven't been rolling in on the kickstarter page.

I suspect some of the issues lay in having to use fiat in order to pledge on the kickstarter versus being able to buy packs directly with crypto currency. Still the final 50,000 packs sold easily in less than a week and even now that no more packs are available for sale and the only way to purchase anything new at the moment is through the kickstarter, the pledges are just coming in at a trickle.

There are still two weeks left and I think it would be great to see the pledges for the kickstarter double in that time. So if you haven't pledged yet, head over to the Kickstarter and show some love for Steem Monsters!
