The people of Steemit are speaking loudly and voting with their Steemit votes, their fiat, their Steem, SBDs (Steem Based Dollars), and even Steem power delegations for the new frenzy that has overtaken the Steemit dynamic social media platform like Godzilla had done to Tokyo (fictionally of course) once upon a time. Purchases of packs over the course of the weekend have surged to ridiculous heights of north of 50,000 Steem Monster booster packs sold in just the past three days alone (as of 6pm US ET) and are showing no signs of stopping up until the deadline of 300,000 total packs sold which is closing in over this weekend at break-neck speed.

The Splinterlands, the backstory created through collaborative efforts within the Steemit community shows to be a phenomenon that I have not seen the likes of since joining on a personal basis back in mid December of 2017. This is just a tiny taste of a brief cartoon spot created by the steemmonsters development team and released recently:

In a nutshell, from outright origination (zero basically) of this game by the creators @yabapmatt & @aggroed around three months ago to having this kind of animation being done as a spot by game contributors. Only on the blockchain and only in this kind of community can these kinds of things be possible...

On another note, this is the first post I have done using the steampeak app and I must say it it's unbelievably friendly to write a more professional looking post...light years of an improvement in user friendliness in my opinion. Also, there is an option within the post that allows you to reward fellow benefactors or beneficiaries of your post. Since I am so happy for what has happened with @steemmonsters I think would be fitting to award them a portion of the post payout in gratitude and hope of what is to come with the incredible work there.

But of course I would also like to reward a portion of the post payout to @steempeak, not just for this wonderful app that's been around for a while now, but the wonderful work that steempeak insiders @jarvie and @asgarth created for steemmonster fans.
