Finally made it to the 3th place on a Steem Monsters Tournament

After two weeks of playing tournaments this is the first time, I got a decent ranking. A third place! Not the first one yet.

Steem Monsters tournaments are excellent. They are far more challenging than the daily reward battles. I have learned a lot more and improve my strategy while playing those.
The reward for the third place was 6 STEEM. Not bad 😊.

The first couple of times were a disappointment. I was defeated in the first or the second round. After that I improved a little bit, bought some rare cards but not legendary. Made some analysis and strategies and this is the first time winning something decent.
I’m even more proud that I did this without any legendary summoner. Those summoners have shown to be quite powerful and if you want to win something in the tournaments you need one of those. They are quite expensive with each of them costing more than 10$. If you want to upgrade them, and you will need to, the costs are going up fast.

I have written in the discord server that we need tournaments without any legendries, if we won’t this game to be interesting for the small players as well. Just a day later that option was included and now there is a possibility to create tournaments without legendary. Yesterday was the first time a tournament like this was organized and I made it to the 8th place. Better than the 60 or more before. Got 1 STEEM reward.

We need more of those tournaments to engage more people in them, and it will made sense for them fighting and having a chance to win. To lower the barrier, they can made tournaments with common and rare cards only as well, meaning not just legendary, but epic cards excluded as well. The rewards can be a bit lower on those. In this way there will be something for everyone, and people can compete in a real since.

I have a great opinion about this game. The tournaments are exciting and enjoyable to play. It has all the things a game should have. The team is great, and they have showed again and again that they are doing the right things. Hope they continued in that direction.
