Steem Monsters Journal: Underrated Fire Combo

The Fire Splinter can be pretty devastating when used properly. One of the underrated combinations that is often overlooked is its use in doubling up on both Snipe and Sneak.

Because the Kobold Miner costs only 2 mana and the Fire Beetle only costs 3 mana, snipe and sneak tends to be relatively cheap attributes relative to many of what its splinter counterparts have to offer. Throwing in Elven Cutthroat and the Centaur easily makes a pretty devastating combination found in only 12 mana used (and 4 playing positions). This leaves plenty of room for both a front tank AND a second-position tank.

On higher mana formats, use of a hearty Naga Fire Wizard can be devastating in further extending the range of the front guard while shooting over the front tank.

Because the Fire Splinter has so many options for front tanks, this combination tends to be quite difficult to stop given the trouble in adequately defending from the front/center/rear simultaneously.
