Does it surprise anyone that the most valuable cards are gold?

If you placed a piece of US fiat into someone’s hand anywhere in the world they may not be able to distinguish a $5 from a $100 if they did not speak English.

But drop a heavy gold object in their hand and they are sure to smile and understand immediately that it has value.

One does not have to study gold as long as I have or understand the physics behind why gold is valuable... its just instrisic to our nature.

Because gold is so rare (amongst other reasons ) gold will always be valued in any society, even in a monster society!

The creators of Steemmonsters get it, and so does The Market.... which is why you see so few of these Gold Legendaries for sale.

Despite the Steem Monster Market opening up, I am not selling this Cold Gold.

It is facinating to watch market forces at work and Cold Gold rise to the top. Since there is only 1 for sale, the seller can pick there pricing point at they are starting at 10 Gs.

I am not saying they will get someone to bite, but if I Steem Monster is going to sell for 10k, its going to be a gold one.
