How Much Is The Gold Archmage Worth?

Did anyone else just noticed what I noticed?

@steemmonsters (aka Splinterlands) investor and player @j6969 just bought up a buch of the regular Archmage Arius causing the price of the remaining cards on the market to be a little.... out of reach for most players.

I’ve always thought this was a special card. I’m not talking about playability, but rather INVESTABILITY (huh?)

It’s pretty interesting to consider that a single large investor has singlehanded made this card now virtually impossible to buy.

It makes me wonder what the GOLD version of this card is worth and what a related transaction could to for the game. I could imagine this being a newsworthy event in the gaming world if such a card were sold for 5 figures.

Now that Yaba has released the numbers on how many of these cards will ever be printed we can roughly guess the gold version as well.

BTW the gold version of this cards isn’t even for sale and as of the time of this writing, only myself and @j6969 own one.

Who can provide an estimate to the value of this coveted gold card that I have no intention of selling
