Thanks for posting this, you reminded me to go back and check out the new market! There are a bunch of cards that are selling for super cheap right now. The booster packs are $2 each and you get 5 cards so the base value on any given card is around 40 cents. People are selling cards for as low as 9 cents!
I've been thinking about this a bit, and I don't think it's as simple as number of cards / price per pack. Each rarity has different probabilities and therefore different valuations. If the chances of getting a legendary gold are very small and people are willing spend $100 or more on that card, then the value of each pack will go up based on the chance of getting one of those cards.
