Selling my alpha commons to improve my deck
So a new SteemMonsters season begins in earnest !! I collected my reward of 13 packs for getting to the Diamond II league and when I had a look through my deck I realised that I had accumulated over 20 beta cards for each of the 20 common monsters (not including neutrals). I didn’t realise I had opened so many beta booster packs over the past couple of weeks. It’s too damn addictive!!!
This got me thinking. I’m hoping to be able to earn enough steem from blogging to buy 5-10 booster packs per week but I was playing with level 6 alpha common cards that I would never be able to level up using the cards from the beta packs I was buying (or winning each season), so I decided to sell my level 6 common alphas and use the proceeds to buy enough beta commons from the Monster market to get all the beta commons to level 7.
I’m happy to say that I completed my mission about an hour ago.
I still have a long way to go before I will be able to compete in the champions league (a maxed Selenia would be a good start !!!) but I am certainly enjoying the journey.
