Steemmonsters Team Tournament

Had a fun time at a Steemmonsters tournament last night hosted by @khan.dayyanz It was a team tournament played in swiss rule. A team consists of 3 members and each will play in Bronze, Silver and Gold league respectively with the opponent.

I was joined with @toocurious on Gold and @bubke at Silver while I compete at the Bronze level. The whole tournament took more than 2 hours as it clashed with another tourney. Nevertheless, it was a fun format to play in a team.

The fight came down to the very last match between me and my opponent. A win would place our team at first place. But luck ran out and I lost the match and our team ended up at third place. Still a cool 40 Steem prize for the 3 of us.

It is encouraging for steemmonsters players to play in different tournament format. Although the game itself is quite stale and some say, not interesting anymore. But I believe with the introduction of such tournaments, it can make playing fun again. Of course, winning some prize in the process will be much better.
