Super Awesome Fantasy Steem Monster Writing Contest - Silvershield Warrior

I am honored to participate to write a fantasy theme of "Steem Monster Writing Contest". The soul of the theme I have regarded in many ways for so long.

It would appear, were we follow the long genealogy of Steem Monsters. Many untold stories have been spread in a thousand ways. Which is true, which is not? Each players seeking the true powers beyond each card of unidentified attack, defend and skills.

This is a story of most commoner Silvershield Warrior. They seem nothing but like a guard of a castle. They do not powerful magic like a wizard or have the strength of a dragon. Most of them die in the front-line battle as nobody cares much about them as they are commonly weak and die easily. Some powerful elite warrior even ignores them in the battle as they move forward to destroy a much more powerful enemy.

Indeed they seem weak and carrying a weapon of a spear charging in the battle. Most forgotten them as they are the fearless warrior who always prepared in the battle and the first person who stands in front to face the enemy first. With honor, they move forward without looking back.

Using the only weapon they have to do as much damage as possible to the enemy and preparing their sacrifice as they take a step closer to the enemy territory. A pierce skill will appear when closer to the enemy within a short range while the enemy needs to take a step further before they can attack. An attack from a Silvershield Warrior may feel like a mosquito bite but many may makes a difference.

Death means nothing to them unlike the legendary golden element dragon with the highest power and defense stay cowardly behind the line. Perhaps one day, the owner will value them as their sacrifice is truly with glory and dignity.
