Steem Monsters Common Card Fantasy Story Contest! // Week 22 // The Grumpy Dwarf

Well this will be my first attempt ever... I started playing Steem Monsters last week and I got really into it so I decided to take part in this Fantasy story contest, I hope you enjoy the read!
I didn't have much free time to write this one so the short is kind of short but next week I will start preparing the story since day one.

Flavor text:

The grumpiest of the famously grumpy Dwarfs. Life isn’t so bad but he always finds something to be mad about.

Breadrick the Grumpy Dwarf:

Breadrick grew up along the mountain shore near the Veldrin farming village. His family owned a little farm house for generation and Breadrick followed the family tradition and became a farmer.

Just a sunny morning just before winter was about to arrive, Breadrick went to the village to purchase a new axe to start gathering wood for the cold days that were soon to arrive. After buying the axe he decided to swing by the tavern to drink a fresh cup of hale before heading back home to is farm. About to finish his cup, screams start loudly bursting from outside the tavern and soon after the village bell alarm went off.

ORCS! RUN! ORCS!

Breadrick rushed out of the tavern and started running as fast as he could towards his farm! But one of the orcs saw him fleeing the village and chased after him, it didn't take long for the orcs big starts to catch up to the little dwarf. Breadrick was no fighter but all the years he spent chopping down trees granted him some ability wielding the axe.

Realizing he had no chance of out speeding the orcs he came to a sudden stop and swing his axe at the orc. The orc dodged his blade at the last second, leaving him only with a flesh wound on his stomach. Now standing in front of each other circling around, waiting for the next attack, when the orc launches is axe right towards the dwarf heads. Breadrick quickly jumps out of the way and strikes back with an incapacitating blow to the orcs shoulder. The dwarfs quickly and coldly delivers a last killing blow to the orcs head.

He took some time to regain is breath and started running towards the farm again, but when he arrived it was already too late! The crops were all on fire and just outside the house was another orcs with a bloody sword, blinded by rage Breadrick charged forward yelling towards the orcs that just took his wife's life. The orc tried to parry the dwarfs blow but the anger filled blow had such strength that the orcs sword went flying away... With the orc still of balance Breadrick swinged again jamming his axe in the orcs chest.
The Dwarf fell to his knees and weped while the landscape and all his family property burned.

After a few hours 6 dwarfs in full plate amor mounted on white montain goats approuched the dwarf.

-Did you manage to kill two orcs all by yourself with that wood chopping axe? One of the man inquired.
-Who are you? Breadrick responded.
-We are orc hunters and we want you to be part of our clan.

Breadrick joined the orc hunting clan and after 2 years of tracking the horde that attacked Veldrin they were finally able to eradicate every last one of them. But that wasn't enough for the Dwarf, they had taken everything from him! So he decided to dedicate the rest of is life to killing as much orcs has he could or at least die trying.
