How to buy TRON SEED Tokens with STEEM for the upcoming SEEDGerminator Crowdfunding Campaign. A tutorial with a lot of ScreenShots.

you've never heard about TRON and / or SEED? But you've got FOMO regarding the new PROMO cards?
Welcome to the club. I learned about this stuff in the last 24 hours, and want to provide a little tutorial ...
1. Install a TRON Wallet
At first we need a new TRON Wallet. I've used TronLink, a Chrome Browser extension similar to STEEM KeyChain. You can download it here ...

Add it to your Chrome browser. Now open the TronLink wallet, just click on the red icon next to the KeyChain icon...
Now define a password for your wallet ...
Now confirm the password ...
2. Create a new TRON Account
Now create a new Account by clicking "Create Account" ...
Define the name of the account (should not be stored on the BlockChain, but I'm not 100% sure) ...
TronLink now shows you the 12 word seed for your account. Write it down to paper ...
Now confirm, that you know your seed. Reenter the seed by clicking the words in the right order ...
Confirm that your 12 words are in the right order ...
Congratulations, you've created your first TRON accounts.
Finally click on "Receive" to get your TRON address.
3. Purchase TRON with STEEM.
Now we are ready to buy TRON with STEEM. The easiest way should be https://onepagex.com/
Just select STEEM on the left side, TRX on the right side and enter your TRON address in the input field. Finally click "Start Exchange" ...
Now you need to send STEEM to @onepagex. You can use STEEM KeyChain for sending the STEEM. Don't forget the right memo ...
Now wait until the exchange is completed. You will find your TRX in the TronLink wallet ...
4. Purchase SEED
Now we can purchase the SEED Token. I've used the trontrade exchange, TRON-SEED market is available via https://trontrade.io/exchange/2
Note that you are automatically logged in with your TRON account ...
Now select the price and the number of SEED you want to purchase and click the "BUY" button ...
You need to confirm the transfer ...
You find the SEED tokens in your wallet ...
5. Splinterland Promo
Now we are ready for next Monday. To send SEED, click the SEED tokens in TronLink.
Now click "SEND" ...
Enter the receiver address and click "SEND".
Good luck! And let's hope we will not end as rekkt SEED bagholders.
Thanks set up the wallet and will probably use bittrex to get trx instead but pretty cool to see how nice their exchanges are there's that one you shared and this one https://trx.market/exchange?id=42
Both are pretty legit. I'm already impressed with how nice their apps are.
Hope steem comes up with some exchanges some day even a tenth this nice.
Gonna be hard for steem-engine to be taken as seriously with all the joke coins but I still hope it's interface can work towards being as good as these.
Great hint for this other market, seems to offer better prices for SEED at the moment ...

Hey @tufkat with the information you've given there are only 40k options for your mnemonic phrase. The erasing also gives hints to the length of the words. These funds might not be very safe

The tron address for contribution for the SEEDGerminator compaign is not known atm. In the shown screen you will have to enter the right receiver. I only wanted to show the way how to participate next monday.
Great Tutorial and I was thinking of onepagex as well to trade my Steem into TRX.
I would just recommend to trade at least around 50-100 Steem into TRX because the fees gets much lower instead of converting only 10-20 Steem.
