Greetings to all the lovely communities!

It is an honor to welcome you in Steemph’s Community Thursday.

Before we get started, let me introduce myself first. I’m @escuetapamela, 22 years old but will soon turn 23 a week from now. I entered Steemit on Dec. 29, 2017, why did I join this platform? Because writing is my passion! Aside from this, I also love reading and it helps me a lot to learn new things that I can use whenever I write. Reading is a great way to expand our vocabularies and enhance our knowledge.

I would like to thank ma’am @bearone and all the @steemph family for allowing us to do this. We will be forever grateful for giving us this opportunity.

Here are the simple guidelines for curation:

  1. Minimum 300 words or 3 stanzas.
  2. Minimum 2 pictures. Must be credited if not original.
  3. Must be at least 90% original content with sources clearly credited. 100% Original content preferred.
  4. With the exceptions of Tuesday Community Competitions & Thursday Community Outreach Day. All posts must be tagged #SteemPh to be eligible for curation.
  5. Posts must not be more than 4 days old.

We will be curating SteemPh wide across all the hubs and using @SteemPh.Trail to upvote suitable posts. If a post already received an upvote from the trail, it cannot receive another.

But wait, there’s good news!

Since my column is about the Community Outreach, everybody has the chance to be featured. What does it mean? I have the privilege to choose from other countries aside from my very own motherland (which is the Philippines).

Another thing is that there’s no required limit on your post payout, so those who already have a high post payout can still have the chance. But of course, we must give way for community posts that are not earning much.

All topics about helping the community and the people are wholeheartedly welcome.

There are no colors, races, and nationalities, we are all God's children. Let’s support one another and never leave each other behind!

Come on, Let's start!

Celebrating the concept "no one fights alone the big C"in its 2nd year in Everlasting Hope

@gratefulayn's article

If you are feeling down and helpless, this is a reminder that you are not alone. If these little kids are fighting hard for their lives each second of the day, who are we to give up on life? Although it is heartbreaking to see that they are suffering from cancers, witnessing their artworks will put a smile on your face. Let’s keep on praying for their fast recovery. Thank you to all the people (volunteers, parents, and staffs) behind this event, everybody proves that hope never dies.

Sowing love and hope only with a pencil and paper | Rural schools, schools of extreme poverty.

@lopzdaniel's article

This will make you believe that education should not be taken for granted. One of the sad realities is some student think that school is never a fun place and to make it worse, they even skip classes. These children in Cambalche are perfect examples of an extraordinary willingness to learn despite the extreme poverty around them. You will also be amazed by how the teachers help the less fortunate children to succeed in the future, every simple act of kindness can change lives.

Outreach and stories of the kids in the orphanage | GIG goes to OUTREACH

starzy's article

The stories of these children will surely inspire you. Most of them came to the orphanage when they are still young and you will be glad to know that some of them finished their studies already. Although they can’t change the past anymore, these kids are now trying to create their future. The nuns are doing a great job in shaping them to have a better life. To be a family doesn’t necessarily mean that we must be blood-related, as long as we care sincerely, it will always be a family.
