Mares Eternos
Todo el derredor un eterno horizonte, a cualquier parte que se mire y en cualquier lugar que se esté el panorama será el mismo, cientos de miles de kilómetros de un interminable océano de azules y mansas aguas, llenas de vida que prospera libre de intervenciones de ningún tipo.
En sus profundidades un frio y oscuro fondo casi carente de pliegues, montañas o depresiones, cubierto de blanca arena producto de miles de millones de años de la continua caricia de las corrientes provocadas por la rotación del planeta y la acción de los vientos.
Typhon es un mundo de agua, un planeta que se formó en regiones exteriores de su sistema planetario, como una gran bola de hielo y silicatos, que luego, por los extraños y oscuros designios de la gravedad, migró hacia el interior del sistema, para que, su anteriormente helada coraza de hielo de agua, nitrógeno y dióxido de carbono, terminara fundiéndose para formar un gigantesco océano que cubre todo el planeta, mientras que, los gases que no se perdieron en el espacio, como una descomunal estela, formaran una densa atmósfera.
Lo que una vez fue una roca congelada, hoy es un mundo lleno de vida, uno de los ecosistemas marinos más variados que se hayan creados, casi todas las formas de vida originarias de la Tierra fueron plantadas exitosamente en él, al igual que muchas creadas posteriormente con fines específicos.
Pero Typhon no es un mundo santuario, a pesar de su ecosistema, rigurosamente protegido, en él flotan trescientas veintidós ciudades acuáticas, sobre las que rigen las más estrictas regulaciones ambientales. Estas curiosas urbes, flotan en cursos fijos, paralelos al ecuador del planeta a velocidades casi constantes, siguiendo la dirección de los vientos.
Literalmente se trata de ciudades. con todo lo que ello implica, grandes edificaciones de apartamentos y oficinas, parques, canales y lagos artificiales, avenidas, estaciones aéreas y navales, edificios de gobierno, escuelas, hospitales y centros de compras. Todo flotando en módulos hexagonales que se iban agregando según crecía la ciudad y pueden ser cambiados de sitio si es necesario.
La característica más distintiva de este mundo eran las marquesinas espaciales, hordas de satélites que, a manera de pixeles en una pantalla de proyección, se iluminaban en el cielo nocturno para presentar mensajes publicitarios, que podían ser vistos en buena parte del planeta al mismo tiempo. Este tipo de publicidad fue prohibida en todos los otros mundos colonizados.

Eternal Seas
All around an eternal horizon, wherever you look and wherever you are the panorama will be the same, hundreds of thousands of miles of an endless ocean of blue and gentle waters, full of life that thrives free of intervention of any kind.
In its depths a cold and dark bottom almost devoid of folds, mountains or depressions, covered with white sand product of billions of years of the continuous caress of the currents provoked by the rotation of the planet and the action of the winds.
Typhon is a world of water, a planet that was formed in outer regions of its planetary system, like a large ball of ice and silicates, which then, by the strange and dark designs of gravity, migrated into the system, so that its formerly icy shell of water ice, nitrogen and carbon dioxide would melt to form a gigantic ocean that covers the entire planet, while the gases that were not lost in space, like a huge stele, would form a dense atmosphere.
What was once a frozen rock is today a world full of life, one of the most varied marine ecosystems ever created, almost all the life forms originating from the Earth were successfully planted there, as well as many created later for specific purposes.
But Typhon is not a sanctuary world, despite its rigorously protected ecosystem, where three hundred and twenty-two aquatic cities float above the strictest environmental regulations. These curious cities float in fixed courses, parallel to the equator of the planet at almost constant speeds, following the direction of the winds.
These are literally cities, with all that this implies, large apartment and office buildings, parks, canals and artificial lakes, avenues, air and naval stations, government buildings, schools, hospitals and shopping centers. All floating in hexagonal modules that were added as the city grew and can be moved if necessary.
The most distinctive feature of this world were the space marquees, hordes of satellites that, like pixels on a projection screen, lit up in the night sky to present advertising messages that could be seen in much of the planet at the same time. This type of advertising was banned in all other colonized worlds.
