I think it's only a matter of time until this does happen. It just makes sense. Like you, I have stuff everywhere across various states (and countries).
It makes a lot of sense. The concept of selling our medical data to researchers is also quite fascinating.
Selling to researchers will lead to next logical step of being sold to insurance companies and ad companies

But in this case it would be your choice.
choice can be morphed easily into a forced incentive ,
Example : you want to get 10% discount on health insurance share you data with us , if it exists , companies will find a way to pry it out of users.
That's just my cynicism though.
There's probably some truth to that. I think blockchain technology will bring a lot of scary things along with positive developments.
It's great tech but even at it's a pinnacle its a tool in the toolkit , there are always manipulative players who will use tools to control the masses.
