Today, stress is an integral part of our lives. Chronic stress can trigger diseases such as diabetes, asthma, depression, arthritis, hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. So stress manifests itself in adults.

In young children, manifestations of stress are mainly associated with behavioral problems: the child is in a bad mood or has learning difficulties. Causes of stress in preschoolers


Stress is the reaction of a person to difficult situations in school, at work, in relationships with friends, family, etc. Stress in preschoolers can occur for several reasons:

1. Separation of parents.

Young children, when taken to kindergarten, often experience anxiety and stress due to fear of separation from their parents. When a child has to explore the social environment without the usual support for him, it can cause fear and anxiety.

2. Social pressure.

3. Homely atmosphere.

How to help a preschooler cope with stress

By following simple tips, you can help the child cope with stress. These recommendations will also help you create and maintain a healthy relationship with him.

Calming baby


Stay close to him and help him feel safe. If the child is afraid of being left without you in kindergarten, tell him he is going to leave soon;

Talk to your child in a calm tone.


This will help you cope with the irritation and calm down;

Pay attention to the child's behavior.


If he is naughty and hysterical, maybe these are manifestations of stress. Maybe the child wants to tell you something because of his behavior;
