Most definitely a very scary experience...Fire and Wind...the most dangerous partners. We have had close fires, smothering in smoke and filling the house with it's ash aftermath...but luckily never such a close call. My sister lives on a farm in the Overberg and fighting fires on surrounding farms is a yearly ordeal. Great article!
Thanks @esli.kloppers. The annual fire season in the Western Cape is not taken seriously enough. Folk are very careless which makes it worse.
Yes, that is true. Then there is always the question wether or not some fires are deliberately set.
