Dilip Kumar, Saira Banu File Defamation Suit Of Rs 200 Crore Against Mumbai Builder
Veteran actor Dilip Kumar and wife Saira Banu send Rs 200 Crore defamation notice to Mumbai based builder Sameer Bhojwani
Dilip Kumar property row has been going on since January 2018 when 96-year-old Kumar and Banu filed first police complaint against Mumbai based builder Bhojwani of forging documents against their property situated in Pali Hills.
According to Dilip Kumar, the plot of land in Pali Hills belongs to them, where Banu wants to make a museum dedicated to Kumar.

In an on-going fresh of events, Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu have sent a defamation notice to builder Sameer Bhojwani for making false claims of ownership of their Rs 250 crore plot of land in Pali Hills in suburs of Bandra.Veteran Actor Dilip Kumar Hospitalized; Diagnosed With Pneumonia
The duo slapped a defamation notice on Dec 31st against Bhojwani demanding an apology and Rs 200 crore for maligning their image in public in 10 days, from the date notice is been sent.The notice to Bhojwani says, "The said press note was published with a criminal intention to grab/ encroach the legitimate rights of my clients by creating a perception in the general public at large that you are the owner/ landlord of the said property and you are free to deal with the same. My clients have also come to know that you are trying for the sale of the property or a lien by representing yourself as the owner of the said property."

The notice states that if Rs 200 crore is not given within 10 days, the actors will go ahead and file for criminal proceedings against Bhojwani.
Dilip Kumar bought this property in 1953 for Rs.1,50,000, whose present market value is more than Rs 200 Crore.
