I recently heard of a teacher who had homeschooled her children. She felt that it was how she could give her children the choice of learning and culture the love for learning. Her children had the choice to decide what they want to learn and how they want to learn them. It was a very bold approach but a few of her children had grown up and it was rather successful.
that's a good point, but many don't see the benefits in that, namely because its hard to assess. If only more would think like that teacher
