    Thanks Melinda you are very fortunate to see it. I was watching a video about the park in Arizona how most of it got taken away. I guess it's now illegal to take home a souvenir.

      There is still a lot there...I can't imagine what it must have been like before! There are huge rock shops just outside the park that sell piles of petrified wood that have been collected from private property and is legal to buy and sell.
