This quote and this idea in general, investing in women and girls, is so important to me and for our global society. By investing in women we invest in the nurturers of our society; we invest in our educators, healers, and ultimately the people who have the capability to enhance all human life the most. Women not only must be empowered from our societal infrastructure but they must also feel empowered to do what it that they really want to do in life. I recently came across an amazing project called "ellevate." Here is their mission statement:
