Agreed.
But I’m talking tertiary level here — where a student enters a course because they want to be there because they want the degree.
It’s tough being a uni student nowadays. There’s not one student I meet who isn’t working full-time just to survive; add study load on top of that... honestly, the vast majority are struggling.
With something like this, there is the extra incentive that is more than just the qualification. Especially when it’s no longer guaranteed that you’ll have stable income afterwards in the Gig Economy!
Earn currency for good grades? Seems like a good start to me, don’t you think?
Don't me get me wrong I do think it's a fantastic idea. You are right with all the pressures on students and how much did they come out with because of it as well. That's another Factor.
