Clean and Tidy Hydraulic Handbrake

I have referred several pictures from other car guys, some of them drive the same model as mine (Nissan Cefiro A31). Just like the picture below which is a left hand drive.

It really looks clean and tidy, without any much of an unfinished job or leftovers to be done. But for me the handbrake is too far away from the driver side, I prefer the handbrake to be closer to me, more than the gear itself. But overall the above setup is great, looks clean and tidy, great for daily drive (maybe drift).

Here is another example of a drift / hydraulic handbrake setup from another car, I'm not too sure what model is this though, my friend sent me this pic anyways. I think this will be my ideal or dream setup if I were to choose or do it on my own weekend drift machine. Except the fact that it does not have carpet on which you can see the bare chassis underneath, well most of the track cars look like that, but this look pretty much look clean and sick for me. The handbrake setup is perfect for me as it is vertically aligned. It does not interfere your gear change or shifting. The old handbrake is still there though, I would have remove it and stuff the hole with some foam or seals.

Well all I can say is you pay for what you get. I have a low budget so the best I can go with is this like the image above. The handbrake stick is crooked slightly to the right because it will interfere with my gear once I shift in Reverse. But I don't really care much about looks first, but more on skills and practices on drift. Maybe someday when I have more budget I will try and remake the looks especially the interior.
