Buy 1 Free 1 Deal from Samsung, Madam Kwan's
Great deal from Samsung. I recently had a free coupon which gave me an opportunity to taste the Nasi Bojari from Madam Kwan's. I checked online for price in case of a heart attack. Madam Kwan's is really a high end restaurant which makes no exception that the food cost for this Nasi Bojari is about RM30, for one.
Because I had this deal and the picture looks tempting, I called one of my colleague to join me for lunch and split the bill even. So both of us just have to pay RM15 for this overpriced meal.
With that kind of price tag, I expect the quality to be good. No doubt the quality of the chicken, rice, sotong and beef with curry is all well served. The rice is colored, deep fried chicken that aren't too roasted like mamak stalls outside. The beef and sotong is too little I guess, with the cost of RM30 per dish, I think we deserve more. If not for this voucher, we wouldn't come. But I get to say that the taste is extremely good
Last but not least, payment has to be done right away after ordering instead of after finishing your meal and pay at the counter. The staff had some trouble scanning / key in the voucher code though, probably they are not trained or very used to this system yet. Luckily the manager came and guided one by one to the staff, so I had to wait patiently to settle the bill.
